Norton and Gaulby Young Farmers 2019
Well done to the 10 young Leicestershire farmers who successfully made it to the next round of competitions and the chance to compete in the Young Farmers Nationals in Blackpool later in the year. Best of luck in Cleethorpes in a few weeks time and round two.
PRO-AM CHAMPIONS, BLACKPOOL January 2019
Well done to Paula and Rachel on January 4th at the Wintergardens Blackpool. Paula Moxham came 3rd in the Turquoise over 40 Latin event and Rachel Rodwell achieved 7th in the over 25 Ruby Latin.

BLACKPOOL GRAND FINALS 2018
A great weekend for GottaDance!! 9 dancers in 17 events. 15 semi-finals reached and 8 converted to final finishes. 3 sashes, 3 2nd places and 2 4th places!! Awesome result and a reward the massive hard work put in by the team.

Halloween Social 27th October

Ian Waite and Camillas Close Up and Personal
GottaDance is honoured to have been asked to participate in Ian Waite and Camillas last show together in Stamford 21st September 2017. Our best dancers will join the show and take part in the evenings performance at the Corn Exchange. Good luck guys and (dont) break a leg!
Quick Quick Slow Pro-Amateur Competition
On Saturday 3rd June GottaDance pupils took to the floor in Stoke at Duncan Trevors Pro-Amateur event. Well done to Bronwyn, Lydia, Jack, Laura, Terri and Rozz who managed 4 firsts and 4 second placings. A first step towards Champions of Tomorrow in January.

Julie Tomkins returned on 4th June imparting more of her vast dance knowledge upon the school. Huge thanks to her for her continued work with the school. Watch out for an August date for the next session.
March 10-13th 2017 was our annual GottaDance Holiday at the Trouville Hotel in Sandown. 60 of our dancers enjoyed a long weekend of dancing in the newly refurbished Art-Deco Ballroom overlooking the Sandown Esplanade. Come join us for Mothers Day weekend 2018 March 9-12th.
Champions of Tomorrow
On the 6th January 2017 at the Blackpool Wintergardens Max Appleby and Allice Grodon made their first showing in the Pre-Amateur Latin and second time out at youth (16-21) Ballroom events in the Champions of Tomorrow Championship gaining valuable experience and helping them move up the UK Adult rankings .
Martin and Rachel just missed the semi final in Intermediate Latin and got marks back in their Ballroom. Well done to both couples.
Max and Allice subsequent results at Cheslyn Hay, Stockport and Burton upon Trent sees them now standing 20th in the UK Youth Modern and 33 in Latin American.
BLACKPOOL GRAND FINALS 2016
5 qualifying events across 2016 saw 12 of our adults and 2 children reach the Blackpool Grand Finals on November 5th and 6th. After months of hard work and preparation everyone danced great and this was reflected in the results.
Once again we had one blue sash winner and with a smaller team achieved the same as last year with 9 dancers making finals! We are very proud of all our pupils and a great many thanks go to everyone who has contributed, competitors, family and friends.

Champions Of Tomorrow January 9th 2016
On January 9th two of our couples took to the amazing Empress Ballroom floor Blackpool for this years competition. Allice and Max and Hannah and Ashley.
Max and Allice Won the Junior Beginners Latin Championship and in Open Junior 5 Dance did fantastically well finishing next into the Semi-final on only their second Open Junior competition.
Hannah and Ashley Made the semi-final of their ballroom and quarter-finals latin on just 3 lessons together and a few practice sessions.
Great work team and keep working hard for Best of Britain, Stars of the Future and the Nationals!
Graham Oswick day with GottaDance
Huge thanks go to Graham Oswick for his recent visit to our school December 6th. Graham delivered 6 private lessons and a group workshop from which we all benefitted greatly. His immense knowledge and easy delivery made this a wonderful day for all dancers concerned. Graham will be back so keep your eyes open for his next visit and February 6th 2016 Juile Tomkins will be spending a day with us so dont miss your chance to improve your Latin again.
Blackpool Grand Finals October 31/Nov 1st 2015
4 qualifying events across the year granted our dancers the privilege of competing at the Blackpool Grand Finals on October 31 and November the 1st. After months of hard work and preparation everyone made a great effort and were well turned out in immaculate costumes and glowing tans even in Blackpool in November! Having said that temperatures were actually quite balmy again for the time of year.
For a small school, once again we made a significant impact on this our 6th Blackpool Grand Finals and our dancers achieved 8 finals overall with one blue sash winner! One of our dancers was also proposed to in the middle of the empress Ballroom! Thankfully Sarah accepted Mike's proposal and what a memory! We are very proud of all our pupils and a great many thanks go to everyone who has contributed, competitors, family and friends.
Well done to all the Gotta Dance team of 4 children and 17 adults.
